As always, you may simply show up at one of our events, fill out a form, and pay your dues to join, or you can sign up right here! (Payments for new members made after the Indianapolis Scottish Highland Games and Festival in October will be applied to the next year, and you are immediately considered a member for the current year.)
Our Dinner Meetings
We meet once a month for a pitch-in dinner and a programme about a Scottish subject.
Our regular programs include an annual Scotch whisky tasting, Cèilidhs (traditional Gaelic parties), and presentations on topics like the clan system, tartans, genealogy, famous Scottish battles, Scottish music and food, as well as two formal dinners, St. Andrew’s Dinner and Celebration of Robert Burns.
What Else Do We Do?
–Host the annual Indianapolis Scottish Highland Games and Festival in October.
–Exhibit at local Scottish, Irish, and International festivals with ancestry reference books, clan and tartan guides, and Scottish history & culture displays.
–Raise and donate money for Scottish cultural education.
–Display Scottish culture at schools and other local venues as requested.
–Send emissaries to various highland game events around the country.
–Socialize and enjoy Celtic music at occasional Kilt Nights at local restaurants.
–Prance weekly with Scottish Country Dancing for beginners to advanced.
