WELCOME!

Since 1983, The Scottish Society of Indianapolis has been a place for people to celebrate Scottish heritage, history and culture. The Society is diverse and composed of genealogists, historians, re-enactors, pipers, dancers and many who simply love celebrating things Scottish.

The Society promotes education about Scottish culture through its monthly meetings, participation in activities such as the International Festival, The St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Kilt Nights, The Fort Wayne Games, The Columbus Games, and The Indy Irish Festival, as well as school programs throughout the year. We annually celebrate with Kirkin ‘O’ Tartans, ceilidhs and Robert Burns Dinners as well as our very own Founders Day Dinner.

We don’t require anyone joining to prove Scottish heritage or linage, just to join us for the fun.

MARK THIS DATE! October 9, 2010, The Scottish Society of Indianapolis will host the Inaugural Indianapolis Scottish Highland Games and Festival right here at the Latvian Center, 1008 W. 64th Street in Indianapolis. Help us to make this a great success and annual event. It will include clans, vendors, food, dance, and live music by Highland Reign, Hogeye Navvy and Ken McGee. There will also be a Youth area and re-enactors along with a full schedule of athletic games. It will be a one day event that you won’t want to miss and at a very family-friendly price!
