Gach ni Albannach!
The wail of the bagpipes, the swing of the kilt, and the jubilant dance over crossed swords – if these stir your soul, fill your heart with pride, or just arouse your curiosity, then find out what the Scottish Society of Indianapolis is all about!
Scottish ancestry is not required. All you need is an interest in Scottish history and culture. We are families, singles, working men & women, retirees, students, professionals, historians, re-enactors, and more.
Each month, we gather for socializing, a pitch-in dinner, and a presentation on a Scottish topic.
Join the Scottish Society of Indianapolis and celebrate Scottish Culture, History, Ancestry, and the Impact on our Modern World.
Our next gathering of the Society will be Wednesday, August 13th at the Latvian Community Center 1008 W. 64th St. Indianapolis. The program for this gathering is a Scottish trivia contest provided by Deneice Jarrett.
Admission is $5.00 for members and $10.00 for others to cover expense. No charge for 1st time guests and those just joining the Society.
One may also renew their membership for 2025. We finally have the ability at the gathering to accept debit and credit cards.
For the pitch-in food assignments please consult the guidelines below.
Scottish attire is welcomed but not required.
Hope to see you then!
