January 2015: “Burns Lite” Dinner
Wednesday, January 14, 2015
Ken Morgan, FSA Scot, will present our annual “Burns Lite” programme.
You’ll have all the Burns your heart desires, the scirl o’ the pipes, plenty o’ haggis, and perhaps a dram to wash it down, but only half the time commitment of a typical Burns dinner (we keep it to about 2 hours).
We’ll also feature Sir Walter Scot, Scottish poet, first author to achieve international fame in his own lifetime, and the inventor of the “Historical fiction” genre in literature.
